At Rope Services Direct, we always only sell lifting slings which meet DIN-EN-1492-1 requirements.

Our slings are tough and build to last. They are ideal for use as a lifting sling along with other high load capacity lifting gear such as hoisting equipment. Used for transporting yachts, caravans, cars and other vehicles as well as many other types of large loads.

Special manufacture / higher load slings from Rope Services Direct are perfect for a range of heavy duty commercial, marine, engineering and industrial jobs too. Remember though, it’s important to choose the right sling for the purpose as they should never be overloaded. This is why special manufacture slings are offered on a bespoke basis. We have our own workshops and external resources where many webbing products can be custom made to suit your requirements. Our website shows webbing slings up to 12 tonne, with our latest addition being the 20 tonne version. If you need anything in between or higher then get in touch, we can usually help.

During bespoke manufacture of some special slings we can incorporate hardware to the lifting eye such as a load hook for example. Wear sleeves can also be added to provide the extra protection required for hard wear areas. The protective sleeves can be left loose so you can move them around or stitched in a particular area.
